Olly Mardling, the founder of one of my clients - WhatTalent.com [new window] - sent over an interesting blog post today. He has just completed an application to Seedcamp [new window], the European angel investment guys.

One of the team there made this post showing word clouds of the answers to some of the application questions:

It paints an interesting picture, especially in the technology section. Open source software is the clear first-choice of an entire generation of entrepreneurs. Note how massive MySQL and PHP are and how tiny wee Microsoft is. I don't know if this has always been the case or if it's an emerging trend.

But lovely idea and a real insight in to the sorts of things people are seeking to inject in to the online market place. =)
