My Drupal websites

While I do most of my work for commercial clients, I do maintain a few Drupal-based websites (besides this one) in my spare time:

eGuild

A collaborative effort with fellow freelancers and small businesses in and around London, this website aims to encourage better business practices amongst technology firms, by bringing consumer (or in this case, supplier) pressure to bear in the form of a business practices review website. I have configured v1 of eGuild and will continue to develop the idea with my collaborators.

Classic Car Source

This website will become a premier resource for information regarding all aspects of buying, running and fixing classic vehicles of all sorts. It's a tall order and I fully expect the library to take decades to complete, but it's a labour of love.

Mums+

Coming soon, this was the idea of a designer friend of mine, Liz Geddes, who was struggling to find activities for her little daughter to get involved in around the Stoke Newington area of London. Starting local, we intend to build this site in to a valuable resource for mums all over the world.

Dirk On A Dakar

This is a bit of fun. A trip diary website for a friend of mine, Dirk Kinvig, who is off around the world on a BMW Dakar motorbike. My favourite feature is the blog map - Where Is Dirk? - which allows him to put GPS co-ordinates in to a blog entry. The map view is a little buggy still, but it was a good opportunity to test drive the GMap module. Last time I looked he was still in France.
